Grant and Michelle Forsyth of Forsyth Farms, own and operate this local Salt Spring Island business. They were looking for a container that could support their soil and gravel mart operation. After discussing their requirements with our sales team, they decided on the Rock Box shown below.
One of the key features is a two way tailgate that allows them to both load a small excavator or bobcat into the container through the single swing gate, secure it properly with the D-Rings mounted inside the box, allowing for easier transport to the jobsite. Additionally, they wanted a rear gate that could be used for soil and gravel deliveries to their customers. The two way gate allows for the gate to be used as a dump style (top hinged) unit and comes with spreader chains to allow them to spread the load where needed. Additional options included were a protective cab guard, to protect the truck while machine loading and custom painted side boards to match the company colours. The rock box not only looks sharp, but provides a larger capacity for hauling lighter materials, while keeping the overall weight of the container down.
